Alex smirked.  “You expected a holiday?”

“I’ve only just had exams,” he pouted, glaring at the sheet.  “And what’s ‘Ameslan’ anyway?”

The hand gestures Alex made left him none the wiser, which seemed to amuse the human.  “American Sign Language.  You’ve got BSL too.”

“Why do I have to do both?  I’m not going to—”

“—Same reason you do French.  Different language.”  Alex shrugged, making another deceptively simple gesture.

“I can understand that one,” Milos grumbled.

“Really?”

“You called me a moron.”

Alex grinned.  “Close enough.”
